About the ADPCA Conference
The Conference is a regularly scheduled temporary community of members and nonmembers who meet to explore the Person- Centered approach in:
* Lectures, seminars, roundtables, and workshops. Structured presentations and discussions of person-centered theory and practice. These present a state of the art view of our philosophy, science and craft
* Small groups. Groups of eight to ten people who explore what it means to be person-centered, experientially.
* Larger community groups. Unique to our approach, and somewhat controversial to some, the leaderless community meeting is thought by many to be the ultimate test of the person-centered notion of self-actualization. It provides a medium both to explore person-centeredness as well as to deal with organizational issues. All meetings are open to all, member and nonmember alike.
The Conference, at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, begins July 15, 2008, at 7pm and ends July 19 at Noon.
It has been awarded:
Up to 36 Nevada Board of Psychological Examiner CEU's
Up to 36 Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug, and Gambling Counselors CEU's
Up to 33.75 Nevada, Board of Examiners for Social Workers Continuing Education Credits for Licensed Clinical Social Workers
Up to 36 Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors CEU's
